InnovationRCA & the Royal Society of Medicine In partnership with CW+
Our mission was to build the next generation of exciting MedTech companies
We want to bring together talented designers, coders and graduates in the fields of business and medicine to stimulate the creation of real design solutions which answer challenges in healthcare.
Winners of the Jam will get cash prizes and those who incorporate a company will be shortlisted to receive £10,000+ seed investment and a place on the InnovationRCA start-up programme. Winners will also be able to compete for CW+ grant funding.
What's a Design Jam?
Design Jam is a weekend event bringing together designers, coders medics and entrepreneurial people to develop design-led solutions for a challenge. Jam participants form teams of 3-5 to brainstorm, ideate, design, validate and then and present their ideas. Common outputs of the weekend are lo-fidelity mock-ups, interactive prototypes, videos, and pitch decks.
